ADVANCING THE GLOBAL DEBATE OVER
CLIMATE CHANGE POLICY

November 4, 2009
Washington, DC

OVERVIEW

The Advancing the Global Debate over Climate Change Policy Washington Briefing will seek to tackle the controversy surrounding the impact of climate change policy on the environment, jobs, energy costs and economic growth. The event will be held in a debate format, allowing panelists and speakers to make arguments for and against climate change regulations and legislation. By having informed, internationally recognized panelists and speakers from both sides of the climate change debate, we intend to have a vigorous discussion of the issues. This Washington Briefing has been timed to coincide with the Senate debate over the Kerry-Boxer bill, the public comment period for the EPA's proposed carbon dioxide regulations, and final preparations for the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.

This Briefing will include policy and industry leaders, environmentalists, members of Congress, think tank experts and representatives of the media.
