Antonio M. BouzaAntonio M. Bouza
Technology Development Manager
U.S. Department of Energy

Antonio M. Bouza is a Technology Development Manager with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in the Office of Building Technologies Program (BTP), Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). He is the emerging technology lead on Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Water Heating and Working Fluids research including Ground Source Heat Pump research. He has been with the DOE since August 2000. Previously at DOE, he was a Technology Development Manager for the Hydrogen, Fuel Cells, and Infrastructure Technologies Program and a BTP project manager for several rulemakings with respect to energy efficiency standards. Before joining DOE, he was a senior engineer with EG&G Technical Services and worked for Environmental Research and Development Corp. performing emissions testing on alternative fuel vehicles. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park, and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
