INFORMATION ABOUT SPEAKERS

Dennis FotinosDennis Fotinos
President and CEO
Enwave Energy Corporation, Canada

Mr. Fotinos served as Chairman of the Board of the Toronto District Heating Corporation between 1998 and 2000. In this capacity, he initiated and executed the corporate re-organization that created Enwave Energy Corporation.

In 2000, Mr. Fotinos joined the management team of the new company as Executive Vice President, Business Development where he developed and implemented the sales and marketing strategy that brought Enwave's capabilities to market. In 2001, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer.

As CEO, Mr. Fotinos’ entrepreneurial drive has guided the company to profitability during a period of high volatility and transition in the energy market. Under his leadership, Enwave developed the world-renowned Deep Lake Water Cooling project, sold all its heating and cooling capacity and established its reputation as a leading corporate citizen by supporting the arts, education and various social causes.

Mr. Fotinos has a BA in International Relations from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and Schulich School of Business. He served as an elected member of regional and local governments in the City of Toronto from 1991 to 1999.

Mr. Fotinos is an active member in the Toronto community and has committed his time and energy over the years to a number of professional and charitable organizations ranging from the National Ballet of Canada, the Ontario Lung Association and the Children's Aid Society.
