Russell PerryRussell Perry
Managing Director
SmithGroup

Mr. Perry, FAIA, LEED AP leads SmithGroup's corporate sustainable design efforts in addition to his role as managing director of SmithGroup's Washington, DC office. Mr. Perry has been an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council since 1994. To expand the reach of sustainable design in the marketplace, he was a co-founder and served as a member of the committee that authored the LEED-CS Rating System for Core and Shell buildings, released in 2005. His visionary look at the sports arena of the future was featured in Sports Illustrated's "Sports and Global Warming" issue in 2007. A registered architect and member of the AIA College of Fellows, Mr. Perry is involved in large-scale planning projects with a particular emphasis on sustainable systems.
